Menzies Campbell still questions Blair's judgement over Iraq

5.38.00pm BST (GMT +0100) Fri 10th Apr 2009

Commenting on former Prime Minister Tony Blair’s remarks on the BBC Radio 3 “Belief” programme that a “single day” does not pass without reflecting on the aftermath of the Iraq war, Senior Liberal Democrat Sir Menzies Campbell MP said: “I do not question Mr Blair’s sincerity of his beliefs but I do continue to question his judgement over Iraq.

“The decision to take military action alongside George Bush was a foreign affairs catastrophe for which the UK and the people of Iraq have paid dearly.”
